Helen, the shoegaze trio of Grouper’s Liz Harris, bassist Scott Simmons, and drummer Jed Bindeman, have announced their first album in over a decade. Linda’s Head arrives October 2 via Kranky—11 years after the band’s lone studio LP, 2015’s The Original Faces. The last grouper album, Shade, came out in 2021. This September, Harris will play a mini-tour of six shows across the U.S. and Canada, with dates in Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Washington, D.C., and Kingston, New York.
