Who is Snoop Dogg’s wife?
Shante founded the music management company Boss Lady Entertainment in 2003. According to its website, “Boss Lady Entertainment is a full-service company that produces and promotes large-scale concerts and live events nationwide. We’ve booked some of the worlds biggest Urban musical acts including Cardi B, Kevin Gates, Keisha Cole, Dru Hill, Ginuwine, Tyrese, Mary J. Blige, Wu Tang Klan, Tank, Jeezy, Anthony Hamilton, Charlie Wilson, and so many more. Our mission is to provide exceptional shows throughout the USA.”
In June 2021, Shante officially took over as the manager of her husband’s career. “Shante has been guiding my career behind the scenes from day one,” the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” singer said. “She has always been my final gut check with all my decisions, and I wouldn’t be where I am today without her. I am grateful to have her as my official manager, helping to build the Snoop Dogg empire together.”
The news was announced in a press release, which stated, “In her new role, Shante will bring her vast, multi-dimensional expertise to expand Snoop Dogg’s existing ventures, as well as cultivate and fortify all upcoming partnership deals across the cannabis, spirits, gaming, music, brand partnerships, touring, licensing and TV/film space. Additionally, Shante will oversee the media arm of Snoop Dogg’s empire, diGGital doGG – home to exclusive mobile apps, video games and a proprietary animation pipeline.”
Shante added, “I have been by Snoop’s side for over two decades so together with the rest of the team, our goal is to strengthen Snoop’s legacy as a brand with the loyalty and trust of our guidance that has made Snoop who he is today.”
How did Snoop Dogg and his wife meet?
Snoop Dogg and Shante are high school sweethearts. They met while they were students at Long Beach Polytechnic High School and even attended prom together during their teenage years.
Snoop graduated from high school in 1989, but he and Shante didn’t tie the knot until June 1997. They renewed their vows in January 2008 after briefly separating in 2004. At the time, Snoop even filed for divorce from his wife.
“I thought I was the man, and I was willing to give up what I had at home for that, until I realized that what I had at home was irreplaceable,” he shared at the time.
In 2024, Snoop gushed about his wife and how much she means to him. “She understands me,” he told People. “She’s a great mother, a tremendous grandmother, an excellent wife and a great friend. She knows how to push all of my buttons to make me act a motherf**king fool or to make me act cool, and I love it.”
How many kids does Snoop Dogg have with his wife?
Snoop and Shante have three children. They welcomed a son, Cordé, in May 1994, followed by another son, Cordell, in February 1997, and a daughter, Cori, in 1999. Snoop also has a son, Julian, from a previous relationship.

Additionally, Snoop and Shante are proud grandparents. Cordé has a son, Zion, and a daughter, Elleven, while Cordell is dad to three daughters: Cordoba, Chateau, and Symphony. Cori gave birth to her first child in February 2025 at just six months pregnant. Meanwhile, Cordé’s late son, Kai, died at 10 years old in September 2019.
In 2024, Snoop’s daughter suffered a severe stroke. As she continued to recover, Cori opened up about her father’s support.“It’s amazing, especially with him being who he is,” Cori told E! News. “He’s a very busy man. He’s always on the road. He’s always gone. But the fact that he takes time to be there for his daughter, to give me advice and to let me know that he’s here—that means the world to me.”
