Dr. Langdon’s love life is top of mind for many The Pitt fans, and we’re sure that actor Patrick Ball will have that in common with his character during this year’s Emmy Awards. He’s received his first nomination — in the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series category — for his performance in Season 2.

Who is Patrick Ball’s girlfriend?
Roorbach grew up in Farmington, Maine, where she danced with Maine State Ballet, per the Portland Press Herald. The 25-year-old graduated from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts with a degree in drama. According to her Backstage profile, Roorbach is a model, singer, dancer, and actor.
What has Elysia Roorbach been in before?
Roorbach made her TV debut in The PittSeason 2. In Episodes 2 and 4, she played Willow Baptiste, a woman who accidentally uses super glue to apply a fake eyelash over the Fourth of July weekend. Fittingly, Langdon is the one to treat Willow, though she wishes she was under the care of Dr. J (Dr. Javadi’s influencer name) instead.
Roorbach auditioned for The PittSeason 1, but didn’t get the part. Ball had “nothing to do with” her appearance in Season 2, he told HELLO!. It was only when Roorbach already got the part that she learned she’d act alongside Ball.
“But I didn’t know I had like five scenes with Patrick,” Roorbach told USA Today. “It was so special that I’d come from hair and make-up and my scene partner would walk in, and it was Patrick.”
“It was a dream,” Ball said of working with his girlfriend. “We get to turn around and play pretend together again: I get to be her doctor, and [her character] wanted nothing to do with me, and that also felt right.
The couple also worked together on stage. They were cast in Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard, a play that ran in Miami.
Roorbach will next appear in Prime Video’s We Were Liars Season 2. She landed the recurring role of young Penny, originally played by Caitlin FitzGerald.
How long have Patrick Ball and Elysia Roorbach been together?
Ball and Roorbach met when they were cast in Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard in September 2023. “[It’s] a really interesting way to meet somebody and then fall in love with somebody,” Roorbach told USA Today.
They’ve seemingly been an item since October 2023, according to a since-deleted Instagram anniversary post. They’ve showcased their love for each other at industry events and on social media ever since.
For one, Roorbach dedicated a 2024 Instagram post to Ball on his birthday. “Cannot believe someone can be so generous and so loving all of the time,” she wrote in the caption. “So lucky to get to love you and giggle with you and adventure with you.”
