In Jason Lives, characters talk directly to the camera; others note how the people in horror movies always makedumb choices and wind up dead. The majority ofFriday the 13thmovies are so poorly made they’re often unintentionally funny. TomMcLoughlin’sJason Livesscript is genuinely clever, bringing some freshness to this franchise’s rotting zombie antagonist.
