UPDATE:Princess Eugenie is ensuring Queen Elizabeth II lives forever in her daughter.

Less than a month after the youngest daughter of Andrew Mountbatten Windsor (formerly Prince Andrew) and Sarah Ferguson welcomed a baby girl with husband Jack Brooksbank, she revealed her full name: Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank.

And the 36-year-old—also mom to sons August, 5, and Ernest, 3, with Brooksbank—shared that the infant is partially named after the late monarch, who died in 2022.

Named after three people we love and admire past and present, including her Great-Grandmother who we hold close in our hearts,” Eugenie wrote in an Aug. 17 Instagram post. “Her name is part of English and Portuguese history, two places we love and call home.”

The new mom of three mused that the family is enjoying a “cosy and loved-filled time” in the weeks following their newborn’s arrival, with her sons already assimilating to their new roles. As she put it, “Augie and Ernie are already the best big brothers.”
