Wendy Stuart will be hosting TriVersity Talk! this Wednesday at 7 PM ET with featured guest Jay Huff.

TriVersity Talk! is a weekly web series with featured guests discussing their lives, activism and pressing issues in the LGBTQ Community. With TriVersity Talk!, the goal is to laugh and learn.

TriVersity Talk! Is part of TriVersity’s ICARE Initiative. ICARE stands for Increasing Community Awareness through Relevant Education. ICARE Programs are generously funded by The Greater Pike Community Foundation.

Jay Huff, better known publicly as DJ Jersey Gohard. “I’m known mostly for my work within New Jersey and Pennsylvania, I have also done many different events in NY including NYC pride!”

“I’m known as a DJ who plays a variety of hits, from decade, past and present making all dance floors come together and mixing some really funky sounds. DJing is my brand, however, I hold many different platforms, advocating for the LGBTQAI+ community, addiction and mental health, motivational speaking and sexual education.”

“Through covid I was in the correctional field, which in return gave me a deeper understanding and desire to continue advocating for people who don’t always have a voice, creating awareness & education.

I’m hub for resources for all platforms. I’m a self-made man, who has always connected with music and used it to express myself emotionally. I use that now as a DJ to uplift everyone I can. Bringing lasting memories to each and every dance floor!”

“My biggest inspirations would be, Lady Gaga, her liberal outlook is exactly what our world needs. I personally know when someone walks into the club they are looking for a place to let loose with the ability to express themselves freely and to have a great time. It also gives people the chance to come out and meet new people.”

“I am here today because I have been able to create a strong support system with amazing friends and family, who are there to remind me that I’m never alone and they will always be there. I understand the struggle that many face in society. My motto is: Everyone should work more to help each other rather than work against each other.”
