Interview with Water Tower

When was the last time you were truly overwhelmed with joy? 

Earlier today when I was getting to walk outside with a friend and truly be present.  I enjoy the sun, and meditation.  Meditation allows me to live in bliss : ) 

Who brings you the most joy when you hear good feedback on your music?

The most joy is when someone is affected positively by our music.  I love to see people smile or heal when they listen.  This happens daily for me.

Has there been a time that critique has been tough to take?

For many years all critiques were tough for me to take.  I finally learned that it is important to use criticism as a way to improve.  Learning how to sift through constructive criticism and separate the signal of the message from the noise is a skill I am honing.

What music do you have out now, can you talk about it with us?

Our most recent release was with my rapper alter ego 182 Water.  Tommy Drinkard produced this with the internet on a show called “Producing The Internet” where the crowd helps us write the songs.

Our fans all danced and sang to it so we put them in the music video so that we could all dance together on our OWN Covid Island’s hehe.
