The Beatles Announce New Official Book Get Back

A new book about the making of the Beatles’ 1970 album Let It Be is on the way. The first official book credited to the band since 2000’s The Beatles Anthology, The Beatles: Get Back will be released in conjunction with Peter Jackson’s upcoming documentary of the same name. The hardcover book spans 240 pages, featuring “transcribed conversations” from studio sessions, photography by Ethan A. Russell and Linda McCartney, a foreword by Peter Jackson, and an introduction by Hanif Kureishi. It’s due out August 31, 2021. Check out the book trailer below.
