My Chemical Romance’s Gerard Way has shared a new song featuring Judith Hill called “Here Comes the End.” The song was released in conjunction with the trailer for the second season of Way’s Netflix series The Umbrella Academy. Check out “Here Comes The End” below.
“I was originally inspired to write this track when series one of Umbrella Academy was being shot, by the time I finished it 2020 was in full swing, the world had taken a profound turn and the song was finished in a surreal new reality,” Gerard Way said in a statement.
Gerard Way shared a handful of demos via his SoundCloud in April, but “Here Comes the End” is his first official solo release of 2020. My Chemical Romance recently announced their 2020 reunion tour dates had been rescheduled for 2021.
