Comedian Scott Aukerman (Comedy Bang Bang) and actor Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation) have worked up a new podcast about the Red Hot Chili Peppers. According to Aukerman, it’s “the comprehensive and encyclopedic compendium of all things Red Hot Chili Peppers.” Check out the first episode, which is about the band’s self-titled debut and 1985’s Freaky Styley, below.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers podcast is the latest in a string music-focused broadcasts from Scott and Aukerman. In 2018, they launched R U Talkin’ R.E.M. RE: ME? about R.E.M., with R.E.M.’s Mills eventually making an appearance on a return episode last year. Prior to that, they investigated the U2 catalog with U Talkin’ U2 To Me?.
