The estate of Tom Petty has issued a cease and desist to Donald Trump’s presidential re-election campaign. The campaign used Petty’s song “I Won’t Back Down” at a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma held Saturday night (June 20). In a statement posted after the rally, Petty’s family wrote that they had issued an official cease and desist to the campaign, adding “Tom Petty would never want a song of his used for a campaign of hate.
