Hello Alonzo! Thank you for your time. Let’s jump right in, we have seen you on Instagram and you have already hit the New Year running with shows and you are in the gym slaying all of your goals! Tell us how you stay motivated and what keeps you going?
Hey! Thank you guys for this interview!
OMG it can definitely be a task staying motivated. I have my bad days for sure. I think I always find it in me to push myself because we never know how much time we have left. I don’t believe in wasting time. On my hardest days though, ill call a friend or think about my mother. I have people in place that I can call to put some “pep in my stepâ€Â. It really helps to keep yourself surrounded by people that motivate you when trying to accomplish big goals.
I know we all have a goal and want to be success, as a musician, what is your definition of success?
Success is so subjective. Many people measure it by money and some by happiness. To me success is BOTH. I want to be happy doing what I love to do, without 1 financial concern. Really just enough money to take care of myself and both of my parents. That’s success in my book.
Can we expect new music from you in 2020?
YES! IT IS COMING! And I seriously cannot wait to share. I’m so excited.
What is one thing you wish you knew when you were younger?
I wish I knew how to get started sooner. I really feel like if I started in this business really young like other huge stars id be a lot further right now.
Share with us what item in your closet do you wear the most?
Ahhhh im kinda embarrassed to say this but there are these Black Waxed Denim pants that I wear at almost every show. People just don’t know because I always have a different shirt on haha.
Tell us what is your most treasured possession?
Im gonna keep this one a secret in case someone tries to take it one day haha.
