The 2019 MTV Video Music Awards closed out with a performance that celebrated the show’s first-ever New Jersey iteration. The finale featured Naughty by Nature, Redman, Fetty Wap, and Wyclef Jean—all of whom are from the Garden State. They performed their biggest hits, including “Trap Queen,” “O.P.P.,” “Hip Hop Hooray,” and “Gone Till November.” Then Queen Latifah rode in on a motorcycle and did “U.N.I.T.Y.” Watch it all happen below.

The VMAs have typically bounced between New York and Los Angeles, with a couple of stray years in Las Vegas and Miami. But this year, the program moved to Newark, New Jersey. The big closing number wasn’t the only shoutout to New Jersey: presenters included Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Drea De Matteo, and Vincent Pastore of “The Sopranos.”
