The French pop singer Christophe has died, Agence France-Presse reports. Speaking with AFP, Christophe’s wife Véronique Bevilacqua said he died of emphysema. The French newspaper Le Parisien had previously reported that Christophe tested positive for COVID-19; the late singer’s agent did not confirm or deny the report, according to AFP.
