It’s somewhat hard to believe, but it’s already been over a year since a verdict was reached in Johnny Depp and Amber Heard’s defamation trial. The ruling was largely in Depp’s favor, as Heard was found guilty on three counts of defaming her ex-husband. Depp was found liable for one count of defamation though was

The Mission: Impossible franchise exists mainly so that Tom Cruise can risk his life doing insane stunts. Most of the things that we see Ethan Hunt do on screen, like scale sheer buildings and riding motorcycles off of cliffs, are things we’d never really see real people do, but some of the character’s activities are,

John David Washington is not one to shy away from stunt work, as he’s starred in plenty of action movies. Last weekend’s box office results could be described as dismal. The biggest new title was Scott Waugh’s Expend4bles, which received a beatdown from critics in the hours before showtimes, and the final results not only saw said action film flop and finish in second place, but no title managed to make over $10 million. The moment Rocketman starts, it transports you into this story. You become part of Elton John’s world, for better or worse. I ended my first viewing with so much admiration for the singer. I couldn’t help but appreciate his artistry and sympathize with his trials and tribulations. I also loved Rocketman’s depiction of his friendship

Quentin Tarantino is a writer and director who clearly has no problems with violence going to extremes. Many of his movies include significant blood throughout their runtimes or include scenes that have become famous for their levels of intensity. Django Unchained certainly has its share of brutal violence, but apparently, the movie could have gone

The last several years have been quite good for Star Trek fans on the TV front, with shows like Discovery, Strange New Worlds and Lower Decks keeping Paramount+ subscribers entertained. The film side of the franchise, however, has been decidedly lacking, as there’ve been no Star Trek movies released since 2016’s Star Trek Beyond. However,

It’s almost an unwritten rule that if you’re competing for the lead role in the James Bond movies, multiple try outs can only boost your odds. As Roger Moore, Timothy Dalton, and Pierce Brosnan’s hirings came after previous attempts had failed, that lesson is pretty well enforced in 007 lore. Which is probably why Rupert
