Bleachers Sign to Dirty Hit Amid Flurry of Jack Antonoff Industry Moves

Antonoff is also “launching a new joint venture” with Dirty Hit co-founder Jamie Oborne and has a new exclusive agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group

Jack Antonoff’s band, Bleachers, is signing to the British independent record label Dirty Hit, Variety reports. Antonoff is also “launching a new joint venture” with Dirty Hit co-founder Jamie Oborne, who will now manage Antonoff and Bleachers. The band’s first release for the label, Live at Radio City Music Hall, is out this Friday, August 25. The album captures Bleachers’ July 2022 concert at the iconic New York venue.

Along with the move to Dirty Hit, Antonoff has signed an exclusive global publishing agreement with Universal Music Publishing Group.

Antonoff released three Bleachers studio albums—2014’s Strange Desire, 2017’s Gone Now, and 2021’s Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night—through RCA Records.

He worked as a producer on the latest album from Dirty Hit’s signature act, the 1975, and his contributions to the single “Part of the Band” helped win him the the 2023 Grammy Award for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical.
