What music do you have in the works right now?
The biggest project we’re working on right now is a 4 song Visual EP for our last release Dunia. The visual music video will be one video for all 4 songs we put out and it will take viewers on a coming of age ride through the balancing act of the technological world vs the nature world. How would you describe your music?
Ethereal, Raw, Autotune Free, Fueled by nature, Inspired by life.
What does a day look like for you?
Jam packed at the moment. We all go about our days a little differently but during the week we come together several times a week in the afternoon and work though the evening on music, live streams with our fans, jump on live interviews and have meetings. For the past several weekends we’ve been filming 12-14hrs a day for the Dunia Visual EP. When we’re not filming on the weekends we usually like to put in a full studio day. When we’re not collaborating together on projects, you can find us spending time in nature, working and being the plant based food that we are. I’m (Sierra aka Band Mama) also managing the band independently while working with the team at Bsquared Management. I’ve been taking classes on music marketing and the new music industry. We are a family band so our lives are really grounded around our music and the mission we’re on to help the planet.
Do you ever feel guilty for taking a day off?ÂÂ
It’s not really a guilt, it’s more of a hunger to do it everyday. For your own sanity sometimes you just have to unplug and connect with ground beneath your feet and the people you love. We all deserve a break from the pressures of this life.
Anything unreleased that you want to release but don’t feel it’s ready?
The 23 new songs we’re working on are screaming to come out but they’re in the final demoing stages and persistence and patience is key…we’re looking forward to getting these songs ready for recording day and absolutely can’t wait to announce the producers we will be working with.
