DaBaby performed his song “ROCKSTAR” with Roddy Ricch tonight at the 2021 Grammys. The pair were joined by a full choir and a violin player for a stirring version of the hit single. Watch the duo deliver the newly-arranged version (complete with additional verses) of their Blame It on Baby collaboration below.

According to the Associated Press, DaBaby says he added a third verse with a special message to his performance of “Rockstar,” which he feels is “going to touch everybody,” as the AP reports.

After “Suge” picked up nominations last year for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, DaBaby was nominated four times this year. “Rockstar” is up for Record of the Year, nominated alongside Beyoncé, Post Malone, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, and Black Pumas. It was also nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song. “Bop,” from 2019’s KIRK, was also nominated for Best Rap Performance.

Ricch picked up six nominations at this year’s Grammy Awards. His hit “The Box” is nominated for Song of the Year in a category with Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, Post Malone, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, H.E.R., and JP Saxe with Julia Michaels. The song from his album Please Excuse Me for Being Antisocial was also nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance and Best Rap Song against “Rockstar.”
