Open Mike Eagle has posted a new freestyle in tribute to the late MF DOOM, whose death was announced on New Year’s Eve. Over a beat by Illingsworth, Eagle reflects on hearing KMD’s “Peachfuzz” in his youth, as well as working with DOOM on “Phantoms” and “Police Myself.” “Who the fuck ever gets to rock with their heroes?” he raps.
