Listen to Tori Amos’ New Song “Better Angels”

Earlier this month, Tori Amos announced her upcoming holiday EP titled Christmastide. Now, she’s shared the first single from the record. Give “Better Angels” a listen below. In a statement, Tori Amos daid:

With “Better Angels” I wanted to acknowledge the year we have all been through and know that there is hope. We can find that hope within ourselves if we continue to focus our collective minds and souls. We are slowly starting to find a clearer path to transform together for the better of all.

The four-track Christmastide EP is out December 4 via Decca. The record was made in collaboration with drummer Matt Chamberlain and bassist Jon Evans. Earlier this year, Amos published a book titled Resistance, which follows Amos’ life as a songwriter. In 2005, Amos co-authored the autobiography Piece by Piece with Ann Powers.

Tori Amos’ last studio album was Native Invader, which arrived in 2017.
