Coach Reflects the Vibrancy of New York City with Its Spring 2021 Collection

Even in the midst of a global pandemic, there is no denying the strength and endurance of the Big Apple—a quality Coach Creative Director Stuart Vevers is highlighting with his A Love Letter to New York capsule. The limited-edition buy it now selection from his spring 2021 collection drops today.

From a zippered biker jacket reflecting downtown grit to an uptown chic vegetable-dyed leather shopper tote and a sweatshirt embroidered with an abstract motif inspired by the city skyline, everything in the range is crafted by New York artisans and factories.

“New York City has gone through a really tough time—businesses are hanging in there by a thread,” says Vevers. “A Love Letter to New York is an immediate way to give back and support our industry. We worked with a whole variety of manufacturers where we’ve given them real orders to help support their businesses.”

Vevers invited an inclusive cast of Coach “family”—Megan Thee Stallion, Kaia Gerber, Kate Moss, Debbie Harry, Kiko Mizuhara, Jeremy Lin, Hari Nef, Cole Sprouse, Lexi Boling, and Paloma Elsesser—to model in the spring 2021 lookbook, shot by Juergen Teller.

A Love Letter to New York pieces feature prominently throughout the lookbook images, styled with spring pieces. The lookbook also features reissued Coach archive pieces, such as a Keith Haring t-shirt and NASA logo sweatshirt, and a Basquiat x Coach trench from the fall 2020 collection in stores now—a playful mix that speaks to the NYC’s cool, bustling vibe.
