Franzia’s Wine-Dispensing Backpack Is Your New Picnic BFF

We all wish to be as fearless and unbothered as Rihanna carrying a glass of wine (sometimes even a bottle) out of restaurants, hotels, and on vacation. But if you can’t muster up the cajones to pull it off, everyone’s favorite boxed wine company Franzia just created the perfect happy medium: a wine-dispensing backpack.

“Here at Franzia, we’ve always got your back. Bring your Franzia with you wherever you go with the Official Franzia backpack. Complete with an opening for your pour spout on the side,” the brand wrote on the site.

Set to release on September 20, the backpack takes the box shape of Franzia’s signature packaging, and features a full zip-around so that the brand’s boxed wines can fit perfectly in the pouch. The backpack only comes in one size and one design—Franzia’s cabernet sauvignon—though there’s no telling whether Franzia will expand the colorways in the future. The bag’s most important feature is the spout on the side that makes for a seamless pour, perfect for social distancing picnics or hikes. If you really want to lean in on the Franzia theme, the brand also offers “Franz For Life” red party cups, a speaker, socks, friendship necklaces and a hat.

The Franzia Box Wine Backpack is priced at $32. Grab one for you and a friend when they release on September 20, here.
