Florida Rapper 9lokknine Arrested on Attempted Second-Degree Murder Charges

Last night (July 24), Florida rapper 9lokknine was arrested in Orlando last night on charges of attempted second-degree murder with a firearm, as Pitchfork can confirm via Orange County government records. The artist born Jacquavius Dennard Smith was also charged with shooting into an occupied structure and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was previously arrested on a concealed firearm charge in January 2020, according to Miami-Dade County records.

Pitchfork has reached out to Cash Money Records and Republic Records for further comment.
