Manchester rock band Doves have announced their first studio album in 11 years. The Universal Want is out September 11 via Virgin EMI. Doves have also shared a new single called “Prisoners” in tandem with the announcement, along with an accompanying music video. Watch that below.

The Universal Want marks the band’s fifth full-length album, following 2009’s Kingdom of Rust. It was recorded at Doves’ Frank Bough Sound III studios in England and was produced by the group and Dan Austin. Doves previously released “Carousels,” their first new single as a group in over a decade, which is included on the new LP.

Back in December, Doves announced that they would reunite onstage for the first time since they went on hiatus in 2010. Revisit Pitchfork’s 5-10-15-20 interview with Doves’ Jimi Goodwin.
