boygenius have announced that they’ll share some demos from their 2018 EP as a one-day fundraiser for social justice causes. The tracks—voice-memo recordings of “Stay Down,” “Me & My Dog,” and “Bite the Hand”—will be available just for the duration of Bandcamp’s next fee-free sales day for artists on Friday (July 3).

The demos will benefit three community organizations local to each band member: OUTMemphis in Tennessee (Julien Baker), the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles (Phoebe Bridgers), and Virginia’s Mutual Aid Disaster Relief Richmond (Lucy Dacus).

boygenius joined Hayley Williams on her new song “Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris” earlier this year. Read Pitchfork’s feature “boygenius Are the Egoless Supergroup of Your Indie Rock Dreams.”
