The Stooges to Release Recording of Legendary Final Show With Original Lineup

Third Man Records is releasing the StoogesLive at Goose Lake: August 8th, 1970, a previously unheard soundboard recording of the band’s infamous final show with its original lineup. Recorded before the release of the band’s 1970 album Fun House, the audio was restored by Vance Powell and mastered by Bill Skibbe at Third Man Mastering. Live at Goose Lake arrives on August 7, nearly 50 years after the original performance. Listen to a radio edit of “T.V. Eye” from the recording below.

In February, the Stooges announced a massive 50th anniversary boxset for Fun House featuring the album’s complete sessions, set for release on July 17.
