Target Announces New Designer Dress Collection With Cushnie, LoveShackFancy, and Lisa Marie Fernandez

Through its Design For All collaboration series, Target gifted customers two decades worth of designer collaborations featuring the likes of Missoni, Rodarte, Proenza Schouler, and and ranging from kids’ clothes to home goods. Now Target is introducing a new designer collaboration series built entirely around the most important wardrobe staple—the dress.

The Designer Dress Collection, like Target’s past collaborations, highlights the unique style, creativity and spirit of each designer’s brand. For its debut, Target assigned three female-led labels—LoveShackFancy, Cushnie, and Lisa Marie Fernandez—the task of designing an assortment of colorful dresses in their signature aesthetics. The collection features more than 70 dresses in a variety of silhouettes, colors, and prints, and sized from XXS-3X. Customers can choose from Cushnie’s signature body-skimming silhouettes in bright neons, pinks, and red, LoveShackFancy’s whimsical gyp-set floral dresses, and Lisa Marie Fernandez’s relaxed, vacation-ready pieces all for $60—a fraction of the price you’d pay for the designers’ core collections.

Target and the designers worked on the collection for over a year in the hopes that the collection will “evoke a sense of joy and confidence that comes with finding the perfect dress—especially as we hope for brighter days ahead,” Jill Sando, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer of Style and Owned Brands at Target, said in a statement. The collection will launch online on June 6 before debuting in Target stores on June 15.
