Thurston Moore has shared a new song called “May Daze.” It was recorded by producer Paul Epworth at the Church in London alongside his bandmates in Thurston Moore Group—fellow Sonic Youth alum Steve Shelley, My Bloody Valentine bassist Deb Googe, and guitarist James Sedwards. “A soundtrack for our USA sisters + brothers to register as voters today, if you still need to,” reads a statement from Thurston via Bandcamp. Check that out below.

The most recent Thurston Moore full-length Spirit Counsel was released last year. In September, he released a cover of New Order’s “Leave Me Alone” and sold off a chunk of his record collection.
