Dixie Chicks Postpone New Album Gaslighter

Dixie Chicks have postponed the release of their new album Gaslighter. The trio’s comeback record does not currently have a release date. The album had been scheduled to arrive May 1 (via Columbia). Dixie Chicks co-produced Gaslighter with Jack Antonoff.

Dixie Chicks announced Gaslighter in March and released its title track. The group then performed “Gaslighter” on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

Gaslighter will mark Dixie Chicks’ first new album since 2006’s Taking the Long Way. Read Pitchfork’s Sunday Review of 2002’s Home.
