Jeff Tweedy’s home in Chicago was hit by gunfire in the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Susan Miller Tweedy, who’s married to the Wilco frontman, wrote on Facebook that she called 911 after hearing seven to 10 shots fired “what sounded like right at our house,” according to the paper. “A bullet went through the storm door to our balcony and lodged in the wooden door,” she added. “In the light of day, Jeff found 7 shell casings outside.” No injuries were reported, though several others in the neighborhood reported the gunfire.

The Tweedys’ son (and Jeff’s sometime bandmate) Spencer told WBBM-AM 780 radio that, while the shots were “pretty scary,” he doesn’t believe the family was targeted.
