Listen to Aphex Twin’s Previously Unreleased “Slo Bird Whistle (Peel Session)”

Warp Records has released a 10-track sampler from its forthcoming 30th anniversary WXAXRXP Sessions box set. The collection features rare and unreleased songs from Aphex Twin, Bibio, Boards of Canada, Flying Lotus, Kelly Moran, LFO, Mount Kimbie, Oneohtrix Point Never, Plaid and Seefeel. The Aphex offering is “Slo Bird Whistle,” which he played during a 1995 Peel Session and later made briefly available on SoundCloud in 2015 under the title “11 Slo Bird Whistle[peel Sesh].” Check it out below.

The WXAXRXP Sessions box set—due out November 15—contains 10 radio sessions from Warp artists that span almost the entire history of the label, from a 1994 Peel session with Seefeel up through Kelly Moran, Bibio, and Mount Kimbie’s sessions from this summer’s WXAXRXP x NTS weekend. The collection is available as a 10xCD box set or 10xLP 12″ vinyl release.
