“Your destiny is bound with the destinies of others.” We don’t meet people by accident, they are meant to cross our path. I’m sure the universe stepped in the day I was introduced to John Pasquale, known to all as SoHo Johnny. I knew immediately that Johnny was destined to touch the lives of others in a humbled way while bringing forward breathtaking consequences to those he happens upon, while sharing his passion and love for music….

Originating in Manhattan and raised in the Bronx, Johnny developed his appreciation for music at a young age. Recalling early sessions of a musical pandora of Pink Floyd and Disco Mania amidst friends and a glittering silver disco ball hanging from the ceiling inside his garage, he knew then that music was influential. At the very least it kept him off the darkened tapestry of the crudely macadamized Bronx asphalt streets. With a powerful work ethic he developed and nurtures a successful real estate business in New York City, hence the name, SoHo Johnny…..

With an effervescent confidence Johnny was still overwhelmed with sharing his musical passion and at the same time he was plagued with the desire to help those less fortunate than himself. Learning along the way he strived to combine his two aspirations, courageously endeavoring to produce the most extravagant disco party of the century. The Disco extravaganza took place this past August 10, 2019 in a summery country club setting in Stamford Connecticut. It embraced some of the most illuminated and iconic disco artists including: Deney Terrio, Harold Melvin’s Blue Notes, Tavares, Monty Rock lll, Planet Patrol, Instant Funk, Mini Kiss, Constantine Maroulis, and an extreme host of others. It was a sold out, 12-hour event complete with decadent food, dance, and a room full of very happy people making memories of a lifetime. The event benefitted the American Cancer Society.

It was there that I discovered that Johnny was not only a quiet hero, but that he could also sing, and sing well. “If you believe in destiny, then you know that you have a purpose. You know things happen for a reason, and that you should find out how to live up to the essence of what you’re supposed to do and which direction you are determined to take.” Johnny has learned to carry the universe instead of being crushed by it.

One of Johnny’s motto’s is “If we do nothing, then nothing gets done.” He is a man of strong convictions who puts his heart, soul, and money where is mouth is. With all the attributes of a superstar, he considers himself a regular everyday person, sitting at a desk from 9 to 5. He intends on continuing to produce events that will benefit cancer and cancer research while sharing the joy of music. He will also endeavor to record his debut single. In the meantime, he continues to give of himself, and inspire others. Unbeknownst to him, because of his kindness, his philanthropy, and his insistence of doing something, he is quickly rising to phenomena status…..
