Is The Kindle Oasis Not Really Coming Back?

The Kindle Oasis appeared to be Amazon’s most premium ereader. Many readers particularly liked its metal body and sleek design. The page-turn buttons are, perhaps, one of the most appealing features. The build, combined with the buttons and screen size, make for a pleasant reading experience.

I had planned to upgrade to the Oasis this year, but was surprised to see that it was no longer available. I was looking forward to reading on a somewhat larger screen and simply pressing a button with my finger instead of tapping the screen. Like me, many in the ebook community were astonished and even enraged when the company announced that they had discontinued the Oasis line. It appears to be a well-loved device in the ebook world, and has garnered a niche following.
