A man in his forties fell to his death last night, August 2, at one of Oasis’ Wembley Stadium reunion concerts. At 10:19 p.m. local time, on-site officers and medics responded to reports that someone had sustained injuries after falling from the stadium’s upper tier, according to a spokesperson for London’s Metropolitan Police. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We are shocked and saddened to hear of the tragic death of a fan at the show last night,” Oasis wrote in a statement shared with Pitchfork. “Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved.”

Liam and Noel Gallagher began their Oasis Live ’25 reunion tour last month in Cardiff, Wales. Last night’s performance was the fourth of a five-date run at Wembley Stadium. A representative for the venue has confirmed to The Guardian that tonight’s (August 3) concert will go on as planned. Oasis are scheduled to play two more shows at Wembley in September.
