This year’s Golden Globes red carpet looks were utterly showstopping. 

While the Globes are no stranger to outstanding fashion moments, the Jan. 5 ceremony saw a select few stars stand out from the crowd of glitz and glam. (See all the arrivals here.)

Take Cynthia Erivo, for instance, who looked wickedly good as she hit the red carpet wearing custom Louis Vuitton. Indeed, the Wicked actress—who is nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Motion Picture Musical or Comedy for her performance as Elphaba—stunned in an intricate black gown with a two-skirt detail.

And her on and offscreen BFF Ariana Grande was also one to watch at this year’s ceremony.

Wearing a vintage gown by Givenchy, the “we can’t be friends” singer dazzled in an old-Hollywood number that paid homage to the iconic yellow brick road.

Earlier this month, the singer and actress—who is up for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for her role as Glinda the Good Witchreacted to the news of her first nomination on her Instagram story.
