Happy New Music Friday! The weekend is here, which means more streaming, new playlists, and the best that music has to offer — and ET has you covered for everything in between.

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are celebrating new music this week with Blake’s new song and Gwen’s new album, both out today. We spoke with Blake on the set of his “Texas” music video and he shared that “Texas is way different than anything I’ve ever done before musically and it’s just a super fun song.” Blake is featured on Gwen’s album Bouquet and he joked “we wanted to dominate the entertainment news cycle this week.”

John Legend has partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the first Ronald McDonald House program. He will perform at the RMHC Global 50th Anniversary Gala in Chicago on November 16, celebrating five decades of support for families with ill or injured children across 62 countries and regions. John shared “my family understands the importance of having access to quality healthcare and a strong support system firsthand.” 

Nelly and Kelly Rowland reunited last weekend at the 2024 Baby2Baby Gala Presented by Paul Mitchell for a surprise performance of their 2002 hit “Dilemma.” The event honored Charlize Theron with the “Giving Tree Award” for her work as a lifelong champion for vulnerable women and girls around the world. More than $17 million was raised to support Baby2Baby. Other attendees included Ashanti, Ciara, Katy Perry, Jennifer Garner and more.

CMA has announced that George Strait will be receiving the CMA Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award at The 58th Annual CMA Awards on November 20. The award is given to an iconic artist who has attained the highest degree of recognition in Country Music. Previous recipients include Willie Nelson, Johnny Chas, Dolly Parton, Alan Jackson, and more. More performers have also been announced that include Kelsea Ballerini, Brooks & Dunn, Eric Church, Luke Combs, Riley Green, Jelly Roll, Cody Johnson, Ella Langley, Noah Kahan, Megan Moroney, Kacey Musgraves and Bailey Zimmerman.

Lady Gaga unveiled “DISEASE (THE ANTIDOTE LIVE),” an acoustic version of the first single she produced from her upcoming album due in February 2025.

Jin of BTS has released his album Happy. This marks his first solo album aside from previously released solo tracks. Jin has shared that this album was put together “like a special gift to spread happiness to listeners.”

Dolly Parton has released an album, Dolly Parton & Family: Smoky Mountain DNA, that features songs performed by Dolly with various members of her immediate and extended family, spanning generations. 

Elton John and Brandi Carlile unveiled their new original song “Never Too Late” which is inspired by for the upcoming Disney+ documentary “Elton John: Never Too Late.” The documentary follows Elton as he looks back on his life and early days of his 50-year career. The documentary directed by R.J. Cutler and David Furnish will premiere December 14.
