From Abercrombie to Ugg, the Y2K resurrection is happening—whether you like it or not. And there’s another name that needs to be added to the ever-growing list of brands rising from the ashes: Von Dutch.

While it’s always a sartorial gamble buying any instantly recognizable logo that was tethered to a certain point in time, especially one with a controversial past, it’s a calculated risk that many celebrities are making. Just check out Kylie Jenner sporting one in our November cover story. Turns out she’s been a fan for years, wearing the caps in selfies and while out and about in Los Angeles. Her sister Kendall has also been spotted wearing a hat, and a couple of months ago, Bella Hadid stepped out carrying Von Dutch’s bowling ball bag over her shoulder. Charli XCX even titled the lead single from her Brat album “Von Dutch,” signaling the brand’s triumphant return.
