Additionally, this year’s ESPYs handed out the traditional trio of honorary awards to special recipients, including the Arthur Ashe Award for Courage, the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance and The Pat Tillman Award for Service.

Former NFL pro Steve Gleason was presented with the Arthur Ashe Award for his work raising awareness of ALS, while University of South Carolina women’s basketball head coach Dawn Staley was presented with the Jimmy V Award.
