Thurston Moore has announced a new album. The Sonic Youth co-founder will release his ninth solo studio album, Flow Critical Lucidity, on September 20 via Daydream Library Series. Included on the new LP is a collaboration with Stereolab’s Laetitia Sadier titled “Sans Limites.” Check it out below.

Moore recorded his first album since Screen Time with bassist Deb Googe, percussionist Jem Doulton, guitarist and pianist James Sedwards, and electronics musician Jon Leidecker.

Flow Critical Lucidity is Moore’s first album since the release of his Sonic Life memoir. He was forced to cancel book tour dates due to “a longstanding health condition.” In an interview with Mark Yarm for The New York Times, following the cancellation of the events, the musician revealed that he’s been living with the common heart rhythm abnormality atrial fibrillation for several years.
