Aerosmith Reschedule Farewell Tour for Fall 2024

The band had to postpone its final tour after frontman Steven Tyler damaged his vocal cords and fractured his larynx

Aerosmith

Aerosmith, September 2023 (Aaron Perry)

Last year, Aerosmith began a farewell tour that they had to call off after just three shows due to frontman Steven Tyler’s damaged vocal cords and fractured larynx. The band has now announced the rescheduled dates for the Peace Out Tour. The journey begins anew in September. See Aerosmith’s tour dates below.

The Black Crowes and Teddy Swims are supporting Aerosmith on tour. The rock group’s original drummer, Joey Kramer, is not part of the Peace Out Tour lineup. Instead, John Douglas performs in Kramer’s place.

Aerosmith began their Peace Out Tour after Steven Tyler was sued by a woman who claims that the musician sexually assaulted and sexually battered her when she was a minor in the 1970s. Tyler has denied the allegations.

Shortly after the tour’s initial postponement, Tyler was sued by another woman who claimed that he sexually assaulted her in 1975 when she was 17 years old and he was 27. The lawsuit was recently dismissed after a judge ruled that the woman did not take action against Tyler in a timely enough fashion.
