David Beckham‘s former assistant Rebecca Loos is waving a red card.

Nearly three weeks after the release of his Netflix docuseries Beckham, Rebecca is sharing her thoughts on how the footballer and wife Victoria Beckham handled her affair allegations.

“It’s all, ‘poor me,'” Rebecca, who claimed in 2004 that she was intimate with David, told the Daily Mail in an interview published Oct. 21. “He needs to take responsibility. He can say whatever he likes, of course, and I understand he has an image to preserve, but he is portraying himself as the victim and he’s making me look like a liar, like I’ve made up these stories.”

The now-yoga teacher said that in her opinion, David is “indirectly suggesting” that she is “the one who has made Victoria suffer.”

“Yes, the stories were horrible, but they’re true,” Rebecca said. “He talks in the documentary about this ultimately being his private life, shutting it down. I think it’s one thing to keep your private life to yourself. It’s another thing to mislead the public.”
