Skims Just Dropped a New Swim Collection, and It’s Literally Shapewear for the Water

Just when we thought our closets couldn’t get any more jam-packed with Skims goodies, the brand is back with another covetable swimwear drop as we head into the final lap of summer.

Available today at Skims.com, the Shaping collection features nine medium to full coverage silhouettes and is the label’s “first swim line to incorporate Skims’ classic shapewear elements,” the brand shared in a press email. Unlike Skims’ debut swimwear offerings from March and later additions from this summer, these new styles are crafted from the same soft, compressive fabric found in the company’s beloved sculpting pieces. And while the Shaping Swim line is designed to mold to the shape of your figure and smooth out bumps and cellulite, it also provides light support for additional flexibility and comfort as you leisurely splash around or take on water sports.

The treatment has been applied to popular swim styles like the Bandeau Bikini Top and Mid Waist Short, as well as a handful of fresh looks, including a retro-inspired Underwire Bikini Top, a sleek Tank One-Piece, and a Long Tube Skirt. Everything’s available in five neutral core colors and sizes XXS to 4X to help you find your perfect fit. (And, in true Skims fashion, the collection is pretty affordable.
