Zack de la Rocha Appears to Injure Leg at Rage Against the Machine Show, Continues Performing

Rage Against the Machine’s long-awaited and COVID-delayed reunion tour continued with their second show of the run at United Center in Chicago tonight (July 11). At some point in the show, Zack de la Rocha appeared to injure his leg and subsequently performed multiple songs while seated, Consequence reports and multiple social media posts from eyewitnesses show. Pitchfork has reached out to a representative for the band for more information.

At the first show of the band’s tour in Wisconsin over the weekend, the band unveiled a pointed message that they once again shared on the giant screen behind them in Chicago: “Abort the Supreme Court.” The band is donating nearly half a million dollars to reproductive rights organizations in Wisconsin and Illinois.
