Justin Bieber’s new album Justice is the No. 1 album in the United States this week, Billboard reports. The album—Bieber’s eighth to top the Billboard 200—has unseated Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous: The Double Album, which sat at the top of the chart for 10 consecutive weeks. Dangerous now sits at No. 3 on the chart. Billboard reports that Justice snagged the top position with 154,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending March 25.
Wallen’s album debuted at No. 1 and broke streaming records for a country album, and it remained at No. 1 for weeks after Wallen was widely condemned for a video showing him using a racist slur. He was suspended from his label, pulled from country radio, and taken out of contention for the CMAs.
Wallen has released statements of apology and said he’d met with leaders of Black organizations and Black executives to discuss his actions. In a video, Wallen asked his fans to stop defending him. “It’s on me to take ownership for this and I fully accept any penalties I’m facing,” he said in the February 10 video. Dangerous stayed at No. 1 for another six weeks after that video.
