Amber Coffman has shared a new cover of “Hard Candy Christmas,” the Carol Hall–penned holiday song that originally appeared in the 1978 musical The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, as Stereogum points out. Coffman’s cover is based on Dolly Parton’s recording of the song, which was released in 1982 alongside the film adaption of the musical. Listen to that below.
