Gorillaz Announce New Apple Music Radio Show

Gorillaz have announced a new Apple Music radio show, Song Machine Radio. Each of the band’s characters—2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle, and Russel—will host an hour-long episode of the series, with music selections, special guests, and “segments with Gorillaz co-founders Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.” The first episode with 2D airs Monday, October 19 at 5 p.m. Eastern.

Gorillaz recently announced their Song Machine series of singles will culminate in the release of a full-length project, Song Machine: Season One – Strange Timez, on October 23. The most recent single, “The Pink Phantom,” brought together Elton John and 6LACK. Gorillaz’s most recent album The Now Now was released in 2018.
