Laraaji has announced Moon Piano, a companion piece to his previously released album Sun Piano. The two records were recorded during the same sesssion and engineered by Philadelphia producer Jeff Zeigler. Laraaji describes the new record as “Contemplative sound painting, embracing quiet tranquil unfolding of nurturing reflection.” According to a press release, Moon Piano presents “more introspective and minimal pieces” in contrast to the prior record’s “uplifting” keyboard improvisations.
