Queen’s Brian May Says He Had a “Small Heart Attack” This Month

Queen’s Brian May has revealed that he suffered “a small heart attack” earlier this month, as the BBC notes. In an IGTV clip, the guitarist said that he also required three stents fitted to his heart due to artery blockages. May said that he “was actually very near death” due to his heart troubles. Earlier this month, Brian May made headlines when he said that he “managed to rip [his] Gluteus Maximus to shreds” as a result of a gardening accident. In the video, May clarified that he did rip his gluteus maximus muscle, but that the severe pain he experienced was actually due to a compressed sciatic nerve.
