Clairo has shared a cover of “Brown Trout Blues,” a track from British singer-songwriter Johnny Flynn’s 2008 debut A Larum. Clairo said it’s “one of [her] favorite songs.” Hear her rendition below and scroll down for Flynn’s original.

Clairo released her debut album Immunity in 2019. This year, she’s shared a new demo, a mix called Hero, and also covered Anna Domino’s “Everyday, I Don’t.”

Johnny Flynn last released Sillion in 2017. He’s portraying David Bowie in the forthcoming movie Stardust. The upcoming film, which the producers insist is not a biopic, focuses on Bowie’s transformation into Ziggy Stardust in the early ’70s.
