Milo Ventimiglia already has another TV job lined up even though This Is Usstill has three more seasons to go on NBC.

USA announced on Thursday that it has green-lit a limited series about Evel Knievel starring Ventimiglia as the ’70s daredevil. The limited series, titled Evel, will follow the stunt performer in the lead up to the historic Snake River Canyon jump. It is, according to the network, an “exhilarating portrait of a complex man living the American dream, juggling meteoric celebrity and raising a family — and facing the very real probability that his next jump will kill him.”

Ethan Frankel (Sorry For Your Loss) will write and executive-produce the series with McG, Mary Viola, and Steven Bello of Wonderland Sound & Vision, and Alex Gartner, Charles Roven and Topher Rhys-Lawrence of Atlas Entertainment. Ventimiglia will wear an EP cap for the series as well.

Now, if you’re a This Is Us fan currently in the middle of a heart attack, take a second to breathe. Production on the limited series will begin in 2020, and This Is Us’s shorter season length — 18 episodes — means the show usually wraps in either February or early March. This gives Ventimiglia plenty of time to film Evel without interfering with his Pearson patriarch duties. Not to mention, after the reveal of Jack’s death in Season 2, the Vietnam storyline in Season 3, and the expanded cast for Season 4, there might be less for Ventimiglia to do as the Pearson saga moves forward.

This Is Us Season 4 premieres Tuesday, Sept. 24 at 9/8c on NBC.
